Botanical Twin Suite
Botanical Twin Suite is a shared bedroom and study designed to give two children equal space to sleep, learn, and keep their things organised. Custom oak storage, paired beds, a long shared desk, and a playful botanical mural make the room both practical and full of character.

Project Details
Botanical Twin Suite was designed for two children sharing one bedroom and study space. The client wanted the room to feel fair to both children, with enough storage for separate routines and a work zone that would not compete with the sleeping area.
What needed solving
The previous arrangement offered no clear place for schoolwork and relied on freestanding furniture that used the limited floor area inefficiently. The room also needed to have enough personality to feel playful, without becoming something the children would outgrow too quickly.
Design approach
We created a balanced bed layout, added a long shared desk along the wall, and built custom oak storage around the remaining edges. The botanical mural provides colour and character, while simple textiles and pale finishes keep the room light.
Matching beds give both children equal space and storage access.
The long desk supports homework, drawing, and side-by-side use.
Closed joinery keeps toys and school supplies out of view when needed.
“The room needed to feel shared, but neither child should feel like the guest.”
Area | Solution |
|---|---|
Sleeping | Paired beds with balanced circulation on both sides. |
Study | Shared desk with dedicated seating and shelf space. |
Storage | Custom drawers and cupboards sized for daily use. |
The result is a room that feels flexible, organised, and genuinely built for two.
